CROSS COMFORT

About
Welcome to Cross Comfort, where there is the Cross, there is comfort. This is a space to set down what you’ve been carrying, make sense of what you’ve been through, and find your way forward without having to have it all figured out. Cross Comfort meets you with warmth and compassion, using evidence-based therapy while honoring what matters most to you. If faith is part of your story, it can be part of your healing too. You bring the story; we’ll help you navigate the next chapter.
Meet The Founder

Hi, I’m DeShonna Jenkins.
Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist | Founder of Cross Comfort
Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
Therapy isn’t just my profession—it’s one of my greatest passions. Having experienced therapy from the other side of the couch, I understand the courage it takes to open up, ask for help, and believe that things can feel different.
I created Cross Comfort to be a place where you can exhale, feel seen, and bring your whole self into the room. Whether you’re navigating relationship struggles, broken trust, grief, anxiety, family patterns, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to meet you where you are and help you find a way forward—with compassion, authenticity, and practical support.
If faith is meaningful to you, Christian principles can also be thoughtfully incorporated into your healing journey—always at your comfort level.
I look forward to meeting you.
Where there is the Cross, there is comfort.

Good to Know
Sliding scale
I believe therapy should be accessible. Available are a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on financial need. If the full session rate is not feasible for you, be sure to mention it when you reach out. Also check out the Rates and Insurance page to see if you qualify for out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance. Please contact if you need further assistance.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services. You'll receive a written estimate before your first appointment, and you can request one at any time. If your final bill is at least $400 more than your estimate, you may dispute the charges.
